Honda Reports Sales Of 120 Thousand Vehicle Units In The US In July 2024, CR-V Still Selling

Honda again obtained good results in the United States (US) market in July with sales of 120,737 vehicles, an increase of 8 percent from the previous year in the same period.

Reporting from the company's website, Monday, August 5, Honda and Acura branded vehicles obtained sales of up to 811,018 units (up 9.1 percent) for the first seven months of this year.

For the electrification vehicle segment, these two brands obtained quite positive results by reaching 28,238 units (up 1.7 percent) and in the period January to July to 162,558 units (down 2.7 percent).

Of this number, Honda brand vehicles contributed sales of 109,551 units in July, an increase of 9.9 percent. Just like before, the SUV segment became the largest contributor in that period.

The best-selling model is still led by CR-V with sales of up to 34,216 units, or a natural increase of up to 3.4 percent. The result was followed by Civic with 20,185 (up 17.7 percent) and Accord with 14,004 units (down 21.6 percent).

Complementing the top five positions, the Pilot model is still one of the most popular in the country, uncle sam with 12,109 units (up 21.6 percent) and HR-V with a total of 11,928 (up 33.7 percent).

Honda's first pure electric vehicle (EV) in the US, Prologue managed to touch sales figures of up to 3,458 units in July.

From the luxury vehicle division of Acura, the best-selling model of the brand in July was RDX with 4,013 units (up 21.9 percent), followed by 3,845 units (down 12.6 percent), and Integra totaling 2,018 units (down 26.4 percent).

Furthermore, the ZDX model as the inaugural EV of Acura produced 694 units followed by TLX with a total of 616 units (down 62.2 percent).
