Sri Mulyani Calls Civil Servant Salaries To Free Nutrition Eating Programs Will Be Presented By Prabowo

JAKARTA - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani said that the free nutritious food (MBG) budget had been allocated IDR 71 trillion, which is a mainstay program for the Presidential and Vice President Elect Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Sri Mulyani conveyed that the details of the implementation of the program, such as the budget per portion and technical implementation, would be conveyed by the Elected Presidential and Vice Presidential Government.

"Regarding the details later, the elected president will continue to make preparations with his team for its implementation," said Sri Mulyani after a limited meeting of the Government Work Plan and the 2025 RAPBN at the Jakarta Presidential Office, Monday, August 5.

Therefore, Sri Mulyani conveyed based on President Jokowi's direction that the 2025 State Budget must be able to accommodate priority programs that have been submitted by the elected president government, such as the free nutritious food program and several new initiative programs that are currently being finalized with a team from the elected president.

"This has been included in the posture of the 2025 State Budget. For several special policies, President Jokowi and the elected president will present them when he starts from the government in October 2024," he explained.

Sri Mulyani added that the current transition process is going well, communication is running intensely between the current government and the elected president and vice president.

"And we have started to accommodate detailed programs and will later be written in a financial note," he said.

In addition, Sri Mulyani conveyed that regarding the policy of civil servant salaries, the next elected government would convey this matter.

"Later, the elected president will also convey. We will see later in the APBN and the agreement from the elected president with the current president," he explained.
