Ministry Of Finance Says KUR Distribution In Sorong City Reaches IDR 160 Billion As Of June 2024

The Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) of the Ministry of Finance said that the distribution of People's Business Credit (KUR) in January-June 2024 to 2,142 debtors in Sorong City, Southwest Papua, reached 34.38 percent or Rp160.22 billion.

"The total distribution of KUR in West Papua and Southwest Papua is IDR 459.93 billion," said Head of West Papua DJPb Financial Accounting and Reporting Division Amoeng Priyo Sigit Pamoengkas as reported by ANTARA, Monday, August 5.

In addition, he said, KUR was also distributed to debtors in five districts throughout Southwest Papua including Sorong Regency 710 debtors, South Sorong 563 debtors, Raja Ampat 201 debtors, Tambrauw 54 debtors, and Maybrat 33 debtors.

The realization of KUR distribution in South Sorong Regency reached Rp45.98 billion, Sorong Rp43.83 billion, Raja Ampat Rp10.92 billion, Tambrauw Rp3.56 billion, and Maybrat Rp2.16 billion.

"The business capital assistance was distributed to 3,703 debtors in six regions in Southwest Papua with a realization of Rp266.67 billion," said Sigit.

For the West Papua region, said Sigit, the number of debtors who access KUR from January to June 2024 is 2,524 debtors spread across seven districts with the realization reaching Rp193.26 billion.

This amount consists of Manokwari Rp84.37 billion, Bintuni Bay Rp41.51 billion, Fakfak 29.86 billion, Kaimana Rp26.67 billion, Wondama Bay Rp8.14 billion, South Manokwari Rp2.21 billion, and Arfak Mountains Rp0.50 billion.

"There are 917 KUR delegates in Manokwari, 486 Bintuni Bay, 565 Fakfak, 395 Kaimana, 149 Wondama, 9 Mansel, and only 3 Pegaf," explained Sigit.

He said that there are three largest sectors for KUR distribution in West Papua and Southwest Papua, namely trading of IDR 235.29 billion, social services of IDR 64.29 billion, and agriculture of IDR 46.27 billion.

The KUR financing program is distributed with three schemes, namely KUR as small as Rp202.35 billion (746 debtors), KUR micro Rp256.26 billion (5,333 debtors), and KUR super micro 1.32 billion (148 debtors).

"The total number of debtors in West Papua and Southwest Papua who access the KUR program is 6,227 debtors," said Sigit.
