BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja Believes 20 Million Customers Will Succeed In Garuda Online Travel Fair
JAKARTA - President Director of PT Bank Central Asia (BCA) Jahja Setiaatmadja revealed four keys to business success amid the COVID-19 pandemic, one of which is collaboration. In times of pandemic, collaboration is something that must be done.
"The key to business today is collaboration, innovation, creativity, and digitization as a platform", said Jahja Setiaatmadja at the opening of the Garuda Indonesia Online Travel Fair (GOTF), Tuesday, March 23.
Jahja said the key to this success was carried out by BCA and Garuda Indonesia in boosting tourism performance. BCA itself already has a good payment service. BCA also has more than 20 million customers who can drive the success of the GOTF event.
"BCA was invited to collaborate with Garuda Indonesia. This is a good breakthrough. Because nowadays we cannot be alone anywhere. We must look for supportive partners", he said.
Furthermore, Jahja said that the tourism sector is one of the sectors that must be supported and developed because it is one of the motors that can drive the national economy. Because, currently the hotel, restaurant, and tourism industry is still slumping due to the COVID-19 pandemic
"We need a package that is cheap with a discount given to BCA customers and all users who will take advantage of the ticket during the promotion until March 31, so we hope this can run successfully", he said.
Meanwhile, Jahja said, the existence of digitalization will also support and create good results from the event. This reflects the experience of BCA at the time of holding expos, one of which is currently still ongoing is the BCA Expoversary.
"Usually there are suggestions to meet, but when COVID-19 stops we can't do anything. We started the initiative by introducing the expo and it turned out that the welcome was extraordinary. This is a good breakthrough", he said.
