Police Arrested The Thief Of The Contents Of The House From The Tiles To The Bathroom In Kedoya

JAKARTA - West Jakarta Metro Police investigators have arrested five people suspected of having been linked to the theft of the contents of a luxury house in Kedoya, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.

"Investigators are still investigating. Yesterday, we did secure five people, the three that were secured were construction workers, these two ordered them to do so after receiving the order", said Head of Public Relations at Jakarta Metro Police Kombes Yusri Yunus, reported by Antara, Tuesday, March 23.

This theft case went viral on social media because it was unlike thieves in general. After all, these perpetrators stole all the materials of the victim's house, from tiles, frames, windows, furniture doors to even the bathroom.

Yusri said the owner of the house had also made an official report to the police regarding the theft.

According to news spread on social media, the mode of the perpetrators was to rent a luxury house, to then break into and steal the contents of the house.

Police investigators have also questioned three people who are the heirs to the luxury home. However, the three of them said they never rented out the house.

"There are three heirs. Until now, the three heirs do not feel that they have ever rented the house", he added.

Yusri also said the police had also found the main actor in the case who was currently chasing after the officer.

"After we did a deeper investigation, there is indeed the main actor who is currently pursuing the actor who ordered it as a whole", he concluded.

The viral cause of theft of the entire house was first spread on the social media account @merekamjakarta.

In the uploaded video, the victim's mansion looks like it is being built because there are no tiles or doors.
