Regarding The Position Of Cawagub, Anies' Assistant, PKS: No Need To Fight, Just Trust Us
JAKARTA - Secretary of the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of the DKI Jakarta Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Abdul Aziz asked other political parties in Jakarta not to have the ambition to determine the position of deputy governor of DKI Jakarta accompanying Anies Baswedan.One of the factors of Anies' supporting parties has not officially provided a recommendation for Anies because no cawagub has yet been agreed.PKS is the party that won the 2024 DKI Jakarta DPRD Legislative Election with the highest number of elected candidates, namely 18 seats. Thus, Aziz views that PKS is more entitled to determine who Anies' companion in the coalition party is."There is no need for a fight. Right, the biggest (noise) PKS. Already, just trust PKS, we will distribute it later," said Aziz on Sunday, August 4.On the one hand, Aziz admitted that PKS does not need to prepare any strategy to anticipate the possibility of forming an Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) which wants to dominate the 2024 Pilkada concessions in Jakarta.KIM Plus was originally echoed by the Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad. The coalition that carries Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 presidential election will collaborate with other political parties to increase the strength of the omission of cagub-cawagub in Jakarta.However, according to Aziz, political dynamics is still long when viewed from the time limit for registration of cagub-cawagub on 27-29 August."It's not clear who the candidate will be. Pak Anies has not registered yet. There is no official support from the parties who support him. This is still a long time, it's still the end of the month of registration. I think, yes, we are flowing," explained Aziz.Aziz is confident that Anies' electability will continue to skyrocket at the top until the day of the 2024 Pilkada election. According to him, no other figure will be able to beat Anies in the Jakarta gubernatorial election battle.
"Just realistic, yes. Parties see electability. Who can fight Anies electability? I don't think anyone can be compared to him yet," he added.
