Paving At The Mandalika Circuit, The Moge Club Helps Promote NTB Tourism
MANDALIKA - The Mandalika Circuit is one of the newest leading destinations in Indonesia. Various events and activities were also carried out as an effort to promote tourism in the Central Lombok, NTB and surrounding areas.
Recently dozens of big motorbikes (moge) that are members of the Harley Davidson Club (HDC) Mandalika paved the Mandalika Circuit to promote West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) tourism.
Head of HDC Mandalika NTB Hafsan Hirwan at the Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok, said Sunday that the selection of tourism locations as destinations in each touring is a form of commitment by Harley Davidson community lovers to promote various tourist attractions in NTB.
"We are not only channeling our hobby of driving motorbikes, but we are trying to create value benefits for the regions, hopefully this hobby of driving," he said.
The way they help promote NTB tourism objects is by sharing tour moments on social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. In fact, it is not uncommon for HDC Mandalika to involve media crews in fairly large-scale touring activities.
"Our members on average have followers on social media thousands to hundreds of thousands, so we use members' social media to promote NTB tourism through our touring records," said Hafsan Hiwan.
In addition, the motorcycle club, which places well-known entrepreneur Hardian Permana as a coach, also often participates in national touring activities outside the region.
"As on May 22-26, 2024 yesterday we participated in the HOG Anak Elangendil activities throughout Indonesia with the Cirebon - Jogyakarta - Jember - Bali route," he said.
Sementara Sekjen HDC Mandalika NTB Henrikky Manulang mengatakan, test drive HDC Mandalika dengan tema "The First Harley Davidson Ride Out in Mandalika Circuit by HDC Mandalika" ini dengan mengelilingi lintas Circuit Mandalika selama satu jam.

"Before arriving at the circuit, we rolled the supervisor around Mataram City. After that, the participants carried out an experience ride at the Mandalika Circuit for approximately 10 rounds for one hour," he said.
According to Rikky, all participants came from HDC Mandalika members throughout NTB, both from Lombok Island and Sumbawa Island.
"All Harley owners in NTB who are members of HDC Mandalika take part in this activity, maybe only a few are unable to participate because of the reason of the clashing," said Rikky.
HDC Mandalika NTB is fairly active in traveling to a number of locations on the islands of Lombok and Sumbawa. They often travel long distances using Harley Davidson Motor vehicles to various tourism locations in NTB.
"Besides touring, we are also campaigning for orderly traffic on the highway," he said.
