Confusing The Land Mafia After Corruption Of The Rp0 DP House Uncovered, Deputy Governor Riza Asks For Help From Mass Organizations
JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria asked for help from community organizations (ormas) to take part in eradicating the land mafia in the capital. The land mafia case came to the attention again after it was revealed that the alleged corruption case of purchasing land for the Rp0 DP house in Pondok Ranggon.
"We ask for their support. Ormas may be involved in providing input and other information. If it is known that anyone's land has been seized against the rules, please report it," said Riza at the City Hall of DKI, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, March 23.
Riza admits that the land mafia issue has been a problem since decades ago. In fact, until now their mode has become increasingly sophisticated. However, Riza admits that she will improve the regulations to eradicate the land mafia.
"The government must not lose to the land mafia. We continue to revise the regulations, then we present the apparatus. The most important thing is our ability to carry out research checking studies and so on, until prosecution and sanctions," he explained.
This effort, said Riza, is also working with the police. "We, directly or indirectly, will immediately cooperate with the legal apparatus to follow up," continued Riza.
Previously, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo ordered his staff not to hesitate in handling land mafia cases. Although, in that case there was a big name as a puppeteer or a defender.
"In accordance with the order of the National Police Chief to the ranks to take firm action against the land mafia. Investigators do not need to hesitate in thoroughly investigating the land mafia issue, investigators should take firm action against whoever is the mastermind and his backing," said Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan.
In his direction, the National Police Chief has emphasized that the community must get all their rights. To that end, all ranks were asked to completely send all cases related to the land mafia.
"The National Police must defend the rights of the people, restore people's rights and enforce the law firmly. So our general affirmation only repeats that of the Chief of Police to the ranks," Ramadhan continued.
