Bima District Attorney Investigates Alleged Fictitious Customer Credit at BNI Woha Branch Office, 2 Employees Questioned
NTB - The Bima District Attorney's Office (Kejari) is investigating a case of alleged disbursement of fictitious customer credit funds at the BNI Woha Branch Office (KCP) in 2021.
Head of the Intelligence Section of the Bima Kejari Deby F. Fauzi said that at this stage his party was still collecting data and information from related parties.
"Yes, this investigation is still ongoing, I can't explain further. What is clear is that data and information are still being collected," said Deby via telephone from Mataram, Thursday, August 1, quoted by Antara.
In the process, he said that two employees from the BNI Woha KCP had fulfilled the invitation for clarification from the prosecutor's office.
"On Wednesday (July 31), two BNI employees were asked for clarification, that's the information," he said.
The request for clarification from related parties, he continued, is still ongoing. Therefore, coordination with the auditor regarding state losses has not been carried out.
"There is no audit issue yet, either coordination with the inspectorate or BPKP. Still focusing on the request for clarification from the parties," he said.
Deby said that his party investigated this case based on reports from the public as customers who felt they were victims of the disbursement of credit funds in 2021.
"There are nine customers who feel they have been harmed, one of whom has been paid in full," said Deby.
Regarding the nominal loss of customers from the alleged fictitious disbursement, he admitted that he had not received any information on developments.
"For the total loss, we cannot be sure yet, it is still in process. However, what is clear is that the average amount of this credit fund is IDR 50 million per person," he said.
