Champion In The AFF U-19 Cup After 11 Years Of Fasting, Jokowi Congratulates
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo congratulated the title won by the Indonesian U-19 national team (Garuda Muda) in the AFF U-19 Cup after successfully overthrowing the Thai team with a score of 1-0.
This is Indonesia's second title in the AFF U-19 Cup after winning it the last 11 years ago, precisely in the 2013 edition at the Gelora Delta Stadium, Sidoarjo. "Congratulations to Garuda Muda for the extraordinary achievement of winning the AFF U-19 Cup," said Jokowi through the X @jokowi account which was monitored in Jakarta, Tuesday, July 30 in the morning. The President said that the victory over Thailand 1-0 was achieved for the hard work and the spirit of fighting which was very inspiring. "Hopefully this achievement opens the way for greater success. It will be Indonesian football," said Jokowi.
