PKS Demands Heru Budi Return Free Wi-Fi In Residents' Settlements Since The Anies Era

The PKS faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD has demanded the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta to return the free JakWifi or Wi-Fi program installed in residential areas.The JakWifi program was originally launched since the leadership of Anies Baswedan since the end of 2020. Currently, the DKI Provincial Government has significantly reduced the number of JakWifi services at a number of points.This was revealed by a member of the PKS faction, Ahmad Bado, in a plenary meeting to read the general views of the factions on the accountability for the implementation of the APBD for the 2023 fiscal year."The PKS faction asks that maximum efforts be made to add JakWifi's services again," said fire at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Monday, July 29.Badminton assessed that the provision of Jak Wifi is very much needed by the community for various needs, such as accessing various information, education and supporting their small businesses.So, now PKS has received many complaints from the public because of the loss of free internet access from JakWifi in his residential environment.However,ko admitted that JakWifi's service network often experienced problems when accessed by the public."Even if there are still negative things from the provision of JakWifi services, it should be improved systemally, not by reducing the services needed by this community," he explained.For information, JakWIFI is a free internet service installed in government buildings, parks, RPTRA, public schools, slum neighborhoods, and closed and open spaces.
While serving as Governor of DKI, Anies launched JakWifi, especially to support students' learning needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. JakWifi can be used in general for the people of Jakarta. JakWifi's budget is IDR 6 million per month per point.
