JAKARTA - BYD Motor Indonesia made a positive achievement at the GIIAS 2024 event, especially for the ordering of its newest model, M6, which became the first MPV to be powered by pure electricity (EV) in the Indonesian market.

This was stated by the President Director of PT BYD Motor Indonesia Eagle Zhao, he revealed that BYD dealer partners were trying hard to continue monitoring.

"So far, all I know is that there are three variants of interest that we offer on average," he said, some time ago in BSD.

"We will deliver the M6 in conjunction with other BYD model units following the order number. By the end of this month, car deliveries have reached more than 2,500 units," added Eagle Zhao.

This statement was also supported by the Head of Marketing BYD Indonesia Luther T. Panjaitan, when asked about the large number of BYD M6 orders and he confirmed it.

"Yes, it is true that BYD M6 was flooded with orders, according to what Mr. Eagle Zhao said," he said, when contacted by VOI, Monday, July 29.

Unfortunately, he did not mention the detailed number of orders for the electric MVP until this news was published.
