Former KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan Examined By KPK Today
JAKARTA - Former Commissioner of the General Elections Commission (KPU) Wahyu Setiawan visited the KPK's Red and White building today. The purpose of his arrival is not yet known.
Based on observations in the field, Wahyu, who is a former convict of the bribery case related to the interim replacement (PAW), arrived at around 09.50 WIB, Monday, July 29. He was seen sitting in the reception area of the building wearing a black long-sleeved shirt.
After that, Wahyu went up to the floor of the investigation room. Meanwhile, when confirmed, KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika could not inform him about the presence of the former convict who received bribes from fugitive Harun Masiku.
Previously reported, the KPK also examined former KPU commissioner Wahyu Setiawan on Thursday, December 28. At that time he was asked about the bribery of former PDIP candidate Harun Masiku who was still at large.
In addition, KPK investigators are also exploring several things, including Harun's whereabouts. However, Wahyu admitted that he did not know about it.
As for the bribery case of Harun Masiku, investigators have prevented five people from leaving the country. One of them is the staff of the Secretary General of PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto, Kusnadi.
Then, the KPK also opens up opportunities to apply the article on obstruction of justice. This possibility opened up after Dona Berisa, who is Saeful Bahri's ex-wife, was examined as a witness some time ago.
