MU Is Not Clear, Madrid Is Ready To Hijack Matthijs De Ligt
JAKARTA Real Madrid is said to be ready to hijack Matthijs de Ligt's transfer after Manchester United has yet to reach an agreement with Bayern Munich regarding the transfer of defenders from the Netherlands.
In fact, United are under Sir Jim Ratcliffe's control, making rapid progress in the summer transfer business by securing two important players, namely Joshua Zirkzee of Bologna and Leny Yoro, who were brought in from Ligue 1 club Lille.
Especially for Yoro, the young French player is the target of several clubs across Europe, including Real Madrid, which was originally believed to be Yoro's choice. The failure to bring in the 18-year-old defender, it seems that Los Merengues wants to compete with the Red Devils to get another centre-back, namely de Ligt.

Over the past few weeks, reports have indicated that Matthijs de Ligt has reached a personal agreement with Manchester United. The Red Devils are said to have made an offer of 29 million pounds.
Unfortunately, Bayern Munich rejected the proposal because Die Roten demanded a transfer fee of around 42 million pounds for the 24-year-old defender. The tough negotiations between MU and Bayern made Real Madrid as reported by Football 365 intend to get de Ligt's signature as an alternative to Yoro.
The report added that Los Blancos were willing to spend 34 million pounds or 5 million pounds more than MU's offer. If the offer is rejected, Madrid is believed to be ready to raise bids for de Ligt.
Matthijs de Ligt himself is said to want to leave the Allianz Arena this summer, after losing to Kim Min-jae and Eric Dier. The former Ajax Amsterdam only performed 22 times in the Bundesliga last season, including 16 times as a starter, with a total playing time of 1,387 minutes.
