PBNU Narratives Want To Withdraw PKB To NU Food Considered Inaccurate And Political
JAKARTA - A political observer from Al Azhar University Indonesia, Andriadi Achmad highlighted the intention of the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board who wanted to form a team of five or a special committee (Pansus) on the National Awakening Party (PKB).According to Andriadi, PBNU's plan to return PKB to NU's lap is not appropriate. This is because PKB cannot be separated from NU."In my opinion, PKB is implied as inseparable from Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). This can be seen from the PKB mass base, which is identical to the NU base, such as in Central Java and East Java where the PKB's voice is very strong," said Andriadi when contacted by VOI, Friday, July 26."Therefore, PBNU's desire to pull PKB into the NU lap is an inappropriate narrative. Because PKB is not going anywhere, PKB remains in line with NU," he continued.The executive director of the Nusantara Institute PolCom SRC actually assessed that PBNU's intention to form a fifth team had a political background. Namely taking over PKB from the command of Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin as chairman."I think it is only the will of PBNU (Yahya Yaqut and Cholil Yaqut) to withdraw PKB from Cak Imin's leadership," he said."As we all know, the cold heat relationship between Cak Imin and Ketum PBNU and the Minister of Religion has not been in rhythm for a long time and is in line with for example in the 2024 presidential election. The chairman of PBNU and the Minister of Religion did not support the AMIN pair," concluded Andriadi.Previously, PBNU Secretary General Gus Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul) admitted that he was thinking about forming a fifth team or a special committee (Pansus) on the National Awakening Party (PKB).This fifth team is an effort by PBNU to straighten history and at the same time return PKB to its legal owner, PBNU.
Currently, the PKB elite is considered to have made many statements that deviate from the initial fatsun of the establishment of PKB. There are even real and systematic efforts made by the PKB elite to keep PKB away from the NU structure.“PBNU is in discussion. If necessary, the formation of a fifth team will be carried out immediately. This step was taken after seeing the historical statements of the PKB elite.
