To Make Children's Development More Optimal, Here's How To Improve Body Immunity
JAKARTA - The immune system plays an important role in supporting children's achievements. Because good health directly affects children's learning skills and academic performance. That is why it is very important to maintain children's health.
Pediatrician, Dr. Attila Dewanti, Sp.A (K) shared four tips for parents to maintain the immunity of the child's body. As informed through a Nutrition-Talking webinar with the theme "Support Children Grows to Become Winners: Optimize Immune System and Brain Development" organized by Nutricia on Thursday, July 25.
First, namely complete age-appropriate vaccination. Vaccination will protect the child's body against infection with a number of infectious diseases in the future. Not only preventing children from serious disease attacks, child vaccination can also protect the wider community. This is because immunization helps minimize the spread of disease.
Second, providing nutritious food with a balanced nutrition menu and fulfilling fluid needs. You can provide foods that are rich in probiotics such as nuts, bananas, apples, watermelons, and onions. As well as prebiotics such as tempeh, yogurt, chickenhead, and phfier. Also, food from DHA sources such as sea fish.
Third, invite children to do physical activities according to their age. One of the physical activities that can be done is playing. Playing can improve cardiovascular function, including playing physically indoors or at school. Playing can also increase children's social skills, even sweating when playing can remove toxins from the body.
