Public Facilities Built Through The 121st TMMD Border Area Of Kodim 0910/Malinau

Various infrastructures and public facilities in Malinau, the province of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) will be built at the TNI Manunggal construction of the 121st Border Area (TMMD) Kodim 0910/Malinau.

This will be realized through the physical target of the 121st TMMD.

Dandim 0910/Malinau Lt. Col. Inf. Alisun revealed that the 121st TMMD of Malinau Kodim which runs from July 24 to August 22, 2024, targets important infrastructure development that will bring direct benefits to the community.

Several main projects include the opening and construction of road bodies, the construction of concrete bridge wings, and the construction of stop houses.

"Later there will be the opening and construction of a road body measuring 6 x 1,500 meters, which will increase the accessibility and mobility of residents, as well as support local economic activities. Then the construction of a concrete bridge wing unit measuring 1.5 x 2 meters, and the construction of a residential house measuring 6 x 4 meters," he explained, Thursday, July 25.

As for additional targets, the TMMD Task Force is also targeting various infrastructures in the form of road cementization, RTLH rehabilitation, tree planting, and procuring bore wells at a number of points.

Not only that, but TMMD also includes non-physical activities, in the form of counseling in various aspects, from law to health, which aim to increase public awareness and knowledge.

"Among other things, awareness of the nation, defending the country, Kamtibmas and Law, includes educating the public about the dangers of social and drug diseases as well as how to prevent them, livestock and agriculture, religion, mass treatment and others." he added.

With various activities funded by the Malinau and TNI-AD APBDs, the 121st TMMD is expected to bring positive changes to the Malinau City Village, improve the quality of life of the community, and strengthen the synergy between the TNI and the community.
