Penikam Team Disbands The Dancing Crowd Of Rock Music Performance In Makassar

MAKASSAR - Rock music performance on Jalan AP Pettarani Makassar invited a crowd. Many young people, without adhering to health protocols, danced to the music of rock.

Videos of young people huddling at the music stage were shared on social media. It happened, Sunday, March 21 night at the New Zamrud shop, AP Pettarani, Makassar.

This video finally reached the Makassar Police's Penikam Team (Action for Security Disturbances). The team moved to the location and dispersed the youths who had previously been jumping around and dancing.

"Penikam team came to the location of a musical art performance at the New Zamrud shop, Jalan AP Pettarani Makassar, which invited a crowd of people without complying with health protocols", said the Penikam team, Monday, March 22.

The participants and the music performance committee were disbanded. The audience was also asked to return home.

"Disband… Disband… Disband", said a member of the Penikam team at the location.

In the video, the music performance committee appears to be busy cleaning up equipment. They move musical performances into the shop unit.

There were also youths gathered near the site. They were warned about crowds that could potentially spread COVID-19.
