Pertamina Patra Niaga Expands Data Collection Of Pertalite QR Code
JAKARTA Pertamina Patra Niaga has gradually expanded the data collection area for the Pertalite QR Code for four-wheeled vehicles after being implemented in 41 cities/regencies since July 2023.
The expansion of phase 1 data collection began in mid-July covering the Java Madura Bali (Jamali) and several non-jali areas, namely Maluku, NTT, North Maluku, Gorontalo, East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan.
Pertamina Patra Niaga's Acting Corporate Secretary Heppy Wulansari said the steps to collect data on Pertalite users were taken as an effort by the company to record better and more transparent assignment of fuel transactions, given the compensation budget provided by the Government for Pertalite products.
The expansion of this area is carried out in stages starting in 190 cities/regencies of the Jamali area and parts of Non Jamali, then for other provinces or as many as 283 other cities/districts will follow in the next stage. For four-wheeled vehicles that do not yet have a QR Code will also be served, and will be directed to register on the Proper Subsidy website," explained Heppy.

Heppy explained that the right is a data collection, not a restriction, and is expected to help the government find out about fuel subsidy users and minimize indications of fraud or abuse in the field.
As of early July 2024, it was recorded that more than 4.6 million Pertalite users had registered for the QR Code.
