Bareskrim Dismantles Myanmar And Malaysia Nakorba Networks, Seizes 157 Kilograms Of Shabu
The Directorate of Narcotics Crime, Bareskrim Polri, has uncovered a narcotics network from Myanmar. From the disclosure, 157 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine were confiscated.
"The total amount of evidence confiscated at the crime scene was 157 kilograms of methamphetamine," said the Director of Narcotics Crime at the National Police, Brigadier General Mukti Juharsa, to reporters, Monday, July 22.
The disclosure of hundreds of kilograms of crystal methamphetamine was the result of prosecution in North Aceh and Tangerang. Four people were named as suspects.
Starting from the arrest of suspect AR in North Aceh on July 12, 2024. He is a drug warehouse guard.
Not only that, the police also named five fugitives, namely AN as the controller of the Malaysia-Aceh drug trafficking network.
Then, LD and PN as drug couriers on sea routes, AD as land prosecutors, and ZF as couriers on land routes.
From that case, the police developed it and obtained information that there would be methamphetamine shipments. Until finally, on July 17, 2024, drug smuggling from Myanmar was thwarted.
From the disclosure, three suspects with the initials TS (27) as courier and warehouse guard, AS (30) and SR (27) as couriers were arrested.
"Where the arrests were made in North Aceh and in Tangerang, Banten has something to do with each other, development from Aceh and revealed in Banten a total of 157 kilogaram," said Mukti.
