Delta, United And American Airlines Flights Temporarily Stopped
All flights from several major US airlines including Delta, United and American Airlines were suspended on Friday morning due to communications issues, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
This discontinuation has an impact on all flights from airlines. It is not clear how long this termination will last.
As reported by CNN, Friday, July 19, the flight ban came after a significant Microsoft power outage caused Frontier Airlines to stall for hours on Thursday despite a temporary suspension for the airlines having been lifted.
Earlier on Thursday, Frontier said its system was affected by a power outage and offered a refund to passengers who felt uncomfortable.
Other competitors including Allegiant and SunCountry also say that they are experiencing difficulties, including in the functions of ordering, check-in, and online travel management.
The FAA also announced on Friday morning all Allegiant flights would be halted.
