Helicopter Carrying 5 Passengers Falls In Pecatu Bali, 2 Victims Taken To Hospital

BADUNG - Helicopter crashed in a cliff area in the Banjar Suluban area, Pecatu Village, South Kuta, at around 14:45 WITA.

Head of Banjar Suluban Hamlet (Kadus) I Wayan Suartana said the helicopter was carrying five passengers along with its co-pilot.

"Yes, that's right (the helicopter crashed). There were five passengers with the co-pilot if I'm not mistaken, two Indonesian citizens and their co-pilots, Indonesians, and three foreign guests," said Suartana, Friday, July 19.

Two people were seriously injured and taken to hospital. One Indonesian citizen and a foreign national (WNA).

"While at the location no one died but on the way I didn't know at the hospital," he added.

It was said that initially the helicopter flew low over a resident's house and then crashed into a new road access area in Banjar, Suluban and on the helicopter propeller there was a rope rope.

"Helikopter had flown low over this resident's house, and on the propeller there was a rope," he said.
