Justin Bieber Makes Martin Luther King's Speech Opening Track Of New Album, Netizens: Not Related To

JAKARTA - Singer Justin Bieber has just released a new album entitled Justice on Friday, March 19. Amid the positive responses he received, in fact, Bieber was not free from criticism.

In his latest album, Bieber starts the track with a clip of the voice of activist Martin Luther King Jr. which says "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere".

The voice of King is the first track entitled MLK Interlude, the duration is up to two minutes. After that, the second track is 2 Much which tells about Bieber's wife, Hailey Baldwin.

Actually, there is no problem with the sampled tracks, but many netizens regret using the tracks for something that is not so related.

“Many people are trying to get access to MLK speeches. Many are unlucky. Maybe music is a different scope but I don't like it. And for him to use speech in this way… No”, wrote producer Kirk A. Moore on Twitter.

Apart from Moore, many netizens feel that King's speech has no connection with the entire content of the Justice album.

However, Martin Luther King's son, Bernice King showed support for Bieber's new album.

"Thank you @justinbieber for your support of #Justice, @TheKingCenter workers, and the #BeLove campaign which is part of a global justice movement", wrote Bernice via his Twitter account.

Neither Justin Bieber nor the label has spoken out regarding this netizen criticism, while Justice's album can be heard physically and digitally.
