Unauthorized Porsche On Toll Roads, Kapolda Fadil Imran Gives Warning To Members: Cars And Luxury Cars Should Not Be Escorted
JAKARTA - The Head of Metro Jaya Police Inspector General Fadil Imran reminded his staff not to guard luxury cars, big motorbikes, and groups of cyclists.
This follows the reckless action of the motorcade of luxury cars for escort reasons. According to Fadil, this warning step is so that there is no jealousy for the community.
"This behavior will create social jealousy in the eyes of the community," said Fadil at Polda Metro Jaya, Saturday, March 20.
In addition, the former East Java Police Chief appealed not to let the escort become an obstacle for other motorists on the road.
"I don't want any members to escort cyclists on the road so that it makes it a priority and hinders other road users," said Fadil.
For that, Fadil invited all parties to wisely use the road and asked for an escort.
"Let's build a new tradition, in which the National Police truly stands, exists for all people, not for certain groups," he said.
Previously, a viral video showed a group of reckless Porsche-type luxury cars on the Jakarta-Bogor Toll Road escorted by Transportation Service officers.
The owners of the luxury cars admit that they have received escort from the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency.
Despite being escorted by Transportation Agency officers, the police still ticketed a driver from the group of Porsche drivers, Friday, March 15.
