Coordinating Minister For Political, Legal And Security Affairs Hadi Asks The Police To Update Digital Services
Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Hadi Tjahjanto asked the National Police to improve the concept of digitizing services in serving the community.
Hadi assessed that this needs to be done by the ranks of the National Police in order to adapt to the times.
"In this fast-paced digital era, digital transformation is no longer an option, but a must," said Hadi when opening the National Police Commission Coordination Meeting (Kompolnas) - Polri in North Jakarta, Wednesday, July 17, which was confiscated by Antara.
Hadi said that currently the public is increasingly literate about technological developments, especially in the information sector. This can be seen from the circulation of social media which makes public access to information widespread.
This condition, according to him, must be followed by the ability of the Police in implementing the concept of digitalization to serve the community. One of the efforts that can be done is to make applications that are intended to receive complaints, so that people can easily make reports.
"Tersobosan seperti ini yang harus dilakukan agar Polri tetap ekstiri di tengah perkembangan zaman," ujarnya.

Not only that, Hadi assessed that the concept of digitizing services can also make the ranks of the National Police more transparent and accountable.
To ensure the transparency and accountability of the National Police's services digitally, Hadi asked Kompolnas to carry out supervision so that the Bhayangkara Corps service was right on target to the public.
"With the support and supervision of Kompolnas, the National Police can adopt relevant technological innovations more quickly, so that they can continue to develop and adapt to the same changes," said Hadi, who also serves as Chairman of Kompolnas.
He hopes that Kompolnas and Polri can collaborate well to improve the concept of digitizing services to the community.
