New Generation Triton And Pajero Sport Facelift Officially Launched At GIIAS 2024

JAKARTA - PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) was also present at the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) by launching all-new Triton and Pajero Sport facelift.

All-New Triton was introduced to Indonesia for the first time after making its global debut in the middle of last year. Meanwhile, Pajero Sport facelift was launched last March for the Southeast Asian (ASEAN) market.

"The first is an update from a tough reliable vehicle that has long supported business in Indonesia since 2002 and the second is the refresher of our reliable SUV which has been highly appreciated in the Indonesian market," said PT MMKSI President Director Atsushi Kurita at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Wednesday, July 17.

This latest generation of Triton comes with the name L200 and carries the design of the concept version, namely XRT Concept. Not only does it look different from the previous generation, this pickup was developed using a ladder frame chassis.

Having increased stiffness of up to 60 percent, All-New Triton will be available in dual cabin body models, club cabins, and single cabins.

The Japanese manufacturer guarantees that cars have a high level of resilience including presenting the latest double wishbone front suspensions and back suspensions that provide good driving performance.

Tough on all terrain, this car is offered with six different variants for the Indonesian market, which the company says will have competitive prices.

To provide customers with options, Mitsubishi offers some color options for All-New Triton, namely Yamawi Orange Metallic, Blade Silver Metallic, White Diamond, Solid White, Jet Black Mica, and Graphite Gray Metallic.

Meanwhile, MMKSI presents Pajero Sport facelift to the current generation. It is stated that this is the last refresher for the third generation to have existed in Southeast Asia's automotive market since 2015.

The manufacturer with the logo of three diamonds changed its front look with the latest grip, adopting designs from the latest Triton, XForce, and Xpander.

In addition, the Japanese manufacturer also presents the latest rim with a redesigned headlights and looks different from before. The back also features different lights, bumpers, and spoilers.
