Defeat Novak Djokovic Straight Set, Carlos Alcaraz Wins Men's Singles Wimbledon 2024
JAKARTA Carlos Alcaraz of Spain, defended the men's singles title at the Wimbledon tennis tournament. Alcaraz beat Novak Djokovic straight set, with 6-2, 6-2, and 7-6 (7-4).
Alcaraz won easily in the first two sets over Djokovic from Serbia in the men's singles final Wimbledon 2024. The final was held at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, London, England, Sunday afternoon, July 14 local time.
The exciting competition between the two only occurred in the third set, when Djokovic was able to force a tiebreak. However, Djokovic, who is starting to age, was unable to keep up with Alcaraz's 16-year-old fitness.
