PB Persani Plans To Find Superior Seeds For Gimnastic Athletes From Private Clubs
JAKARTA - The General Chairperson of the Indonesian Gymnastics Association (PB Persani / Gymnastics Indonesia), Ita Yuliati, said talent scout would target private clubs in various regions, in order to find superior seeds of game athletes for Indonesia in the future.
He explained that the team continues to work to capture the seeds of leading gamenastics, especially artistic and other disciplines, namely rhythmic, aerobics, trampolin, and parkour.
"We did the mapping but not per region, but through private clubs," said Ita after the closing of the 2024 Indonesia Open Gymnastics Gymnastics Gymnastics Championship which was held by PB Persani for the third time, at the Office of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora), Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday afternoon.
He gave an example, private clubs such as Gavrila have contributed a lot to donating their students into national athletes, so that in the future Persani will also start targeting other private clubs.
"So we don't look/look for each province, but look at the talents of each club," he said, as quoted by Antara.
In addition to this method, he continued, he explained, annual activities such as the Indonesia Open today are also part of the search/series of young seeds, in order to be projected to participate in the national training camp program.
Through the activities that were attended by a total of 1,200 gameastic participants from the five disciplines, it is hoped that the screening process, mental testing will compete, and increase achievements, can boost the sport of the game to contribute more in the future.

The best male participant in the Freestyle Open 13-17 year category was won by Benjamin Thomas Partono and the best female participant in the Freestyle Open Woman category was won by Mikayla K. Denel.
In the 2024 Open Gymnastics Indonesia Gymnastics Gymnastics Gymnastics Gymnastics Championship which was held from July 4-14, the committee competed alternately per day for artistic, rhythmic, aerobic, trampolin, and parkour disciplines.
This third year is the first time the discipline of trade trucks and parkour has been competed at the Indonesia Open.
In the first edition, the championship only competed in artistic discipline. Then, followed by rhythmic and aerobic disciplines in the second year of implementation.
