Raid Muara Bahari Village, Police Find Hundreds Of Grams Of Shabu To Reconnaissance Drones

JAKARTA - The police raided Muara Bahari Village, Tanjung Priok, this morning. As a result, 31 people were arrested for allegedly being involved in drug abuse.

"From this activity (the raid) we secured 31 people. Consisting of 26 men and 5 women," said North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Gidion Arif Setyawan to reporters, Saturday, July 13.

During the raid, 103 grams of methamphetamine and 26 small packages of methamphetamine were also found. In addition, there were also drones that were secured from the raid.

Apart from drones, the police also secured CCTV to televisions suspected of monitoring the movement of police officers. Then, there are also bongs, scales to clips used for drugs.

"We have secured the drone, it is strongly suspected that it is to monitor the movement of members in the field. Or more clearly they are guarding their place and business," said Gideon.

Police also secured a number of sharp weapons such as sickles, machetes, motorcycles, samurai, airsoft guns to swords.

"The evidence of drugs, sharp weapons, airsoft guns, CCTV monitors and money counter machines are also secured," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the North Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, AKBP Prasetyo Noegroho, said a number of people suspected of being drug users were secured and taken to the Jakut Police Station for urine testing.

"We brought a number of people to the Resort Police because they were suspected, they would be tested for urine and processed if the results were negative. The negative ones will be sent home," said Prasetyo.
