JAKARTA - Pesanggrahan Police Chief, Commissioner Tedjo Asmoro held a meeting with residents of North Petukangan, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, Friday, July 12, evening.
In the meeting, Tedjo listened to aspirations and gave advice regarding the dangers of online gambling (Judol) and online loans (Pinjol).
"We appeal to the public not to fall into online gambling games. Because if they are addicted, people can justify any means to gamble, one of which is online loans (Pinjol)," Tedjo told reporters, Friday, July 12, evening.
In addition, Tedjo also reminded the public to increase security and concern for their environment. The goal is to prevent unwanted things from happening such as theft and brawls in their environment.
"So we all protect our environment. So that nothing happens in our environment that harms us or others. And one more thing, to increase security, so that there is no more theft," he said.
"So we ask residents to increase their vigilance because the police cannot participate every minute," he continued.
He also appreciated the many Neighborhood Security Unit (Satkamling) Posts that have complete facilities in RW 07, North Petukangan.
One of them is the Closed-Circuit Television or CCTV camera monitoring area which is a deterrent to potential criminals.
"The RW 07 Satkamling Post is one of the best. "This Satkamling Post has also just won 2nd Runner-up (in Polda Metro Jaya). So I also congratulate the residents for their hard work," he said.
