The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Calls The PDIP Kubu Report To The Council To The National Police Propam Disrupts Investigation Of Harun Masiku
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said various reports from the PDI-P (PDIP) related to the investigation of the Harun Masiku case interfered with the investigation plan that had been prepared.
This was conveyed by KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika when asked about the report made by PDIP to the KPK Supervisory Board to Bareskrim Polri against Rossa Purbo Bekti. The report was submitted because it considered that the legal process carried out by the investigator was not in accordance with the rules.
"Of course it interferes with the investigation plan that has been made because the person concerned must fulfill these calls," said Tessa to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, July 11.
"Even so, the anti-corruption commission also cannot do much about reporting to various parties made by PDIP," continued Tessa. The reason is that this effort was carried out in an official and legal manner.
Therefore, the KPK can only ensure that the existing team will not relax the search for Harun Masiku, who is still at large. "The investigation will continue, as planned by the investigation," he said.
"The task force and other teams will continue to investigate the HM suspect, including finding the whereabouts of the HM suspect," continued the spokesman with the investigator's background.
Rossa Purbo Bekti has recently been reported by the party bearing the bull symbol. The current staff of the PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto, Kusnadi, complained to the anti-corruption commission investigator to the National Police Propam which was later accepted and registered with the number: SPSP2/003111/VII/2024/BAGYANDUAN dated July 11, 2024.
In addition, Rossa has also been reported several times to the KPK Supervisory Board. Most recently, the report was made because he was suspected of intimidating Donny Istiqomah, who was a PDIP cadre during a search on July 3.
"In the ongoing investigation during the four-hour search, it is unfortunate how Rossa's brother intimidated Donny's brother," said PDIP Legal Team Johannes Tobing to reporters at the KPK Supervisory Board Building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Tuesday, July 9.
"Well, the intimidation, the examination was carried out in front of his children and wife (Donny, ed). You can imagine all of my friends are six years old, the other is still a nine-month-old baby," he continued.
Not only that, during the search it was also claimed that there was a threat. "So this is what makes from a human point of view what traumatized his children, Donny's brother," said Johannes.

This lawyer also accused Rossa of legal gratification who came with 16 other investigators. He said that his client had been persuaded by investigators when the forced attempt was made.
"It was forced by Donny's brother, Donny's brother, just confessed. He said, like this, 'Pak Donny just admitted, to be honest, tell me what is related to the Harun Masiku case'," he said.
"Well, then Donny said, 'what do I want to be honest about, sir, this has all been stated in the news on how to examine when I was at the KPK, I was brought to court, I was examined, I have been given evidence and witnesses, all my statements are like that.," said Johannes telling his client's answer.
