Implementation Of Micro PPKM Is Extended To April 5, Here Is A List Of New Areas For Application

JAKARTA - The government plans to extend the enactment of the Restrictions on Micro Community Activities (PPKM). The extension will take effect from March 23 to April 5.

"Will be extended. Valid March 23-April 5. A plan is being prepared, today it will be issued, ”said the Ministry of Home Affairs' Director General (Dirjen) for Regional Administration (Adwil) Syafrizal when contacted by reporters, Friday, March 19.

He said this extension was carried out to reduce the positivity rate and prevent the transmission of COVID-19 in the community.

Meanwhile, for its implementation, Syafrizal said the restrictions regulated were still the same as other PPKM Mikro. However, there is a relaxation in the socio-cultural sector.

"The socio-cultural sector can only (be done, red) at most 25 percent with strict health protocols," he said.

The reason for this easing is to make room for art workers. "One of them is that, the implementation will be evaluated later," said Syafrizal

Furthermore, the implementation of this Micro PPKM will increase again in a number of areas such as Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara.
