The KPK Believes That The Maximum Sentence Of Prosecutors In The SYL Case Is Granted By The Panel Of Judges
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) believes that the Jakarta Corruption Court Panel of Judges will grant the prosecutor's demands for alleged extortion and gratification of former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo. All facts related to the fraudulent practice incident have been presented during the trial process.
"The KPK prosecutor has presented all the facts at the trial," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement quoted on Thursday, July 11.
The panel of judges, continued Tessa, is also believed to be unaffected by Syahrul's rebuttal delivered through pleas and duplications. "We hope that the Panel of Judges can grant the demands of the KPK prosecutors," he said.
