PDIP Sets Ansy Lema To Be The Governor Of NTT In The 2024 Pilkada
Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputra has appointed Ansy Lema as a candidate for governor for the 2024 East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Governor Election. A recommendation letter was submitted to a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the PDIP faction during the DPD PDIP East Nusa Tenggara Regional Working Meeting in Kupang, Wednesday, July 10."The Chairperson of the PDI-P, Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri, has made the decision to appoint Ansy Lema as a candidate for governor of NTT carried by the PDI-P," said PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto in a written statement.Hasto then said that political communication would soon be carried out with parties in NTT. This step was taken to build political cooperation."“ Included together to determine who the deputy governor candidate will be who will accompany Ansy Lema," he said."All levels of the party will move to take consolidation steps in winning Ansy Lema's brother as governor of NTT and this will be in line with the struggle at the district/city level elections," Hasto continued.After receiving the assignment, Hasto said Ansy Lema would resign from the position of member of the DPR RI. "So brother Ansy Lema will no longer be a state official and we will immediately process this to the KPU,” he explained.
