PancakeSwap Distributes 2.45 Million ZK Tokens As Appreciation For The Community

JAKARTA - PancakeSwap, a multi-chain DEX platform, announced a massive community reward program that will take place from July 5 to August 5, 2024. This program will distribute more than 2.45 million zkSync (ZK) tokens to community members as a form of appreciation for their support for the implementation of zkSync PancakeSwap since July 2023.

In its official blog post, PancakeSwap stated that veCAKE holders and old contributors can participate in this airdrop. Applicable users must connect their wallets to the main page of the PancakeSwap platform and follow a pop-up notification guide to claim ZK tokens.

Unclaimed tokens will be allocated back to PancakeSwap ecosystem for future development and other community projects.

The PancakeSwap team stated that they have made significant progress since it was first launched on the zkSync Era network, an Ethereum layer-2 network, last summer. During this period, DEX has implemented important features such as non-stop Swaps, Yield Farming, Prediction Markets, Fiat On-Ramp, Position Manager, and Syrup Pools.

This effort has helped PancakeSwap surpass its trading volume of 3 billion US Dollars (approximately IDR 48.7 trillion), a total locked value (TVL) of millions of dollars, and more than 1.9 million total traders.
