Kaesang Hopes PSI And PKS Coalition In Addition To The Lebak And Banten Pilkada
JAKARTA - PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep visited the PKS DPP office on Simatupang Street, South Jakarta, Monday, July 8. Kaesang hopes that PSI can form a coalition with PKS apart from the Lebak Pilkada and Banten Pilkada."We from the PSI DPP would like to thank you as much as we have received in the PKS DPP. I hope that as previously the PKS President said that hopefully there will be collaborations that will certainly occur in the Pilkada," said Kaesang during a press conference, Monday, July 8."And Alhamdulillah, as the President of PKS said earlier in Banten in Lebak district, thank God, maybe, it's not possible anymore, but God willing, there will be collaboration between PSI and PKS. I hope this collaboration will not only stop there, but will continue for the good of this nation," he hoped.When asked about the cooperation in the Jakarta or Central Java Pilkada, Kaesang asked all parties to wait."Be patient," he concluded.Previously, PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu said his meeting with PSI general chairman, Kaesang Pangarep broke the assumption that there was no common ground between the two parties. It is known that PKS and PSI were hot during the 2017 Pilkada."It is a joy and pride for us to receive guests from PSI who are directly led by the general chairman, namely Mas Kaesang Pangarep. Of course this is the beginning to dismiss as if there has never been a common ground between PKS and PSI," said Syaikhu during a press conference, Monday, July 8.Syaikhu revealed, in the warm discussion this afternoon PKS and PSI met many common ground and agreements in an effort to build the nation in the future. Especially coalition cooperation in the upcoming 2024 Pilkada."For example, we will follow up, cooperation in the fields of sports, youth, the environment, and also women. We will also be able to collaborate in efforts to win regional heads and deputy regional heads," he continued.Syaikhu is grateful that PKS and PSI have been involved in cooperation in the Lebak Pilkada and Banten Pilkada.
"God willing, we PKS as candidates for regent and deputy from PSI. Hopefully, we will also try to find other meeting points together, we will inventory them so that in the future there will also be cooperation in efforts to support both regional heads and deputy regional heads," he said.
