The Commander Of The Indonesian National Armed Forces Together With The Chief Of Police Review The Mass Vaccinations At The Surabaya Community Health Center

SURABAYA - TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo made a joint working visit to the city of Surabaya. The two of them directly reviewed the mass vaccinations at the Gayungan Community Health Center.

Arriving at the Gayungan Puskesmas, they were immediately shown the process or flow of mass vaccination at the Gayungan Puskesmas. In fact, at that time the TNI Commander had appealed to residents who were queuing up to be injected with vaccines.

"I would like to remind ladies and gentlemen, after the first and second vaccines, we hope that all of our immunity or immunity will increase. If our immune system increases, then we, our bodies will be stronger against COVID-19. Strong but not immune, "said TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto at Gayungan Puskesmas, Thursday, March 18.

However, the most appropriate weapon to deal with COVID-19 is to keep using a mask and keep applying 3M or 5 M.

"If we let our guard down even though we have been vaccinated twice, feel immune and don't wear masks, we will be afraid when the anti-body drops, we will bring in the virus again," he said.

The TNI commander asked residents to follow government advice to keep wearing masks and maintain health protocols.

"Hopefully we are given health, long life, can meet our children and grandchildren, get together with family and the economy will soon increase, so that we can go to the market, can shop for anything, from chilies to coffee sugar," he added.

Meanwhile, Head of the Surabaya City Health Office, Febria Rachmanita, said that the visit of this group was in the context of reviewing the mass vaccinations that were held at the Gayungan Community Health Center.

"Today, 300 people are vaccinated at the Puskesmas, consisting of teachers, the elderly and traders at SWK (Culinary Tourism Center). They were invited to take part in the vaccine this time, they are residents of Gayungan," said Feny, his nickname.

He is proud because the mass vaccination he is holding can be visited by the TNI Commander and the Police Chief and his ranks. According to him, this will be a new encouragement for the elderly, teachers and all employees of the puskesmas and health workers in the city of Surabaya.

"Yes, proud, yes, we are very proud to have a visit from the TNI Commander and the Chief of Police, of course this will be a new encouragement," he said.
