Lampung Jalan Bypass Di Lombok Tengah Mulai Diperbaiki Bertahap

JAKARTA - Public street lighting (PJU) on Labulia Village Bypass Road to Lombok Airport is starting to be repaired.

"The PJU that died on Jalan Bypass has begun to be repaired in stages," said Head of the Central Lombok Regency Transportation Agency Lalu Herdan in Central Lombok quoting Antara.

He said the PJU lights were turned off because there was a light ball that died and there was damage to the network or cable.

However, his party ensures that the PJU can turn on after repairs are made.

"It will be improved gradually," he said.

The PJU lights on Jalan Bypass Airport to the Songgong roundabout for Special Economic Zones (KEK) have not been repaired, but have been proposed to the central government for improvement.

"PJU Jalan Bypass to SEZ is still dead, it has not been repaired," he said.

He said the PJU died completely after the box panel was stolen by irresponsible individuals, where previously it also died after the cable was stolen and the government had made repairs, but as soon as it turned on there was missing material.

"The government has made improvements very often," he said.

Therefore, he appealed to the public to jointly maintain the public facilities that have been built by the government for the common interest and progress of Central Lombok.

"If it is still stolen, this is what makes the impression not good in the central government," he said.

The theft of the PJU cable on Jalan Bypass has been reported to the authorities, but not all perpetrators can be arrested.

"It is possible that the PJU to the Mandalika SEZ will be repaired ahead of the 2024 MotoGP event," he said.
