Study Of Beer Stock Sales, Deputy Governor Of DKI: Many Are Lining Up To Buy
JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, admitted that his party is still conducting a study on the release of beer shares of PT Delta Djakarta, Tbk. This study will later be submitted to the DKI DPRD.
Riza claims that the DKI Provincial Government has strong reasons to sell the shares of the liquor company with the Anker to San Miguel brands. He said, there were already many private parties who wanted to buy the shares.
"Actually, many are queuing to buy PT Delta shares," said Riza at the City Hall of DKI, Central Jakarta, Thursday, March 18.
Riza admitted that he believed that the DPRD leadership, the Commission leadership, and all DPRD members would find solutions to the plans that had been pulled since the beginning of the leadership of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.
"We leave the wisdom to the leadership, DPRD members, who I think are very understanding and wise on how to find solutions to the PT Delta stock problem," he said.
Previously, DKI Jakarta DPRD Chairman Prasetyo Edi Marsudi invited DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan to sell shares of beer belonging to PT Delta Djakarta, Tbk. Prasetyo emphasized that Anies has the authority.
"Go ahead and decide (to sell beer shares). The governor (Anies Baswedan) has discretion, really. In the previous administration there was also his own discretion," said Prasetio.
However, Prasetyo did not want to be involved in the plan to release the liquor stock that produces the Anker to San Miguel beer. This is because Prasetyo sees Anies as having no rational reasons for the sale of beer shares.
Moreover, according to him, there is a potential state loss from the planned share sale of 26.26 percent.
"Sir, go ahead and sell it sir. I'm not participating. Go ahead if the governor wants to sell. I'm not in the way. It's just that the rules and mechanisms have to be passed," said Prasetyo.
According to him, during the four submissions for the release of beer shares, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has not had a reasonable study. He said, there would be no impact of financial loss if the DKI Pemprov had shares in PT Delta. In fact, DKI has received income from share ownership gains received since the days of DKI Governor Ali Sadikin.
"The report I received from PT Delta has contributed dividends to the Regional Wealth Management component which is separated in the 2019 Regional Budget for DKI Jakarta amounting to Rp. 100.4 billion. This position is the second largest contributor to dividends to DKI Jakarta after PT Bank DKI amounting to Rp. 240 billion," he said. Prasetyo.
He also asked Anies to provide an explanation regarding the impact of the release of the beer shares. "An analysis is needed from a comprehensive study of the divestment plan of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's ownership in PT Delta Djakarta TBK," he said.
