Oscar-Nominated Film Love And Monsters Opens On Netflix April 14

JAKARTA - Towards the peak night of the Oscar awards, the film Love and Monsters will be broadcast exclusively through the Netflix streaming service.

The film was directed by Michael Matthews and received a Visual Effects nomination at this year's Oscar. Love and Monsters presents the journey of a man trying to survive.

Joel (Dylan O'Brien) is a man who tries to survive after a monster attack takes the lives of those he loves. Seven years after the attack, the living humans went into hiding.

Joel doesn't stop looking for his girlfriend, Aimee (Jessica Henwick). Until one day, they met by radio and they planned a meeting in the midst of the dangers they faced.

Apart from Brien and Henwick, Love and Monsters stars Michael Rooker and Ariana Greenblatt. The film was produced by Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen who also produced the Netflix original series, Stranger Things.
