Muamalat Gives Sharia Learning To The Board Of Commissioners Of Bank Syariah Bukopin
JAKARTA - PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia through the Muamalat Institute held a training program for the Board of Commissioners of Bank Syariah Bukopin to gain comprehensive insight and knowledge about Islamic banking.
Muamalat Institute Executive Director Anton Hendrianto said that his party is committed to continuing to support the sharia ecosystem so that it can grow and develop sustainably.
"I also see the same commitment from the management of Bank Bukopin Syariah to continue to improve the quality of its human resources to support healthy business growth," he said as quoted by VOI on Thursday, March 19.
Anton added, the training program entitled Executive Sharia Banking is strategic enough in strengthening the Islamic aspect to implement the principles of sharia financial services.
"The Executive Sharia Banking program, which is joined by the Board of Commissioners of Bank Syariah Bukopin, is one of several development and training agendas that we have compiled to encourage a better national sharia ecosystem," he said.
On the same occasion, the Independent President Commissioner of Bank Syariah Bukopin Mustafa Abubakar admitted that he was happy to be able to attend the training and debriefing delivered by the Muamalat Institute.
"Alhamdulillah, this activity went well and smoothly. Hopefully the knowledge gained in this training can be useful for participants, "he said.
Mustafa, who is also listed as Minister of State-Owned Enterprises for the 2009-2011 period, revealed that the learning of the principles of sharia that he has received is delivered systematically and comprehensively.
"Thank you to Muamalat Institute for sharing knowledge with us. Bank Syariah Bukopin is specifically ready to develop the Islamic economy in Indonesia, ”he explained.
Apart from the Independent President Commissioner Mustafa Abubakar, also present was the Director of Bank Syariah Bukopin Denny Riyanto.
For information, Bank Syariah Bukopin (BSB) is a subsidiary under the control of PT Bank Bukopin Tbk after the company annexed PT Bank Persyarikatan Indonesia in 2005.
Meanwhile, the Muamalat Institute is an institution engaged in sharia education and training which is affiliated with Bank Muamalat Indonesia.
