Not Yet Pocketed The Name Of A Member Of The DPR Involved In Online Gambling, MKD Immediately Call PPATK
JAKARTA - Member of the House of Representatives Honorary Court (MKD) Habiburokhman revealed that the MKD still has not received the names of DPR members involved in online gambling. This is because the list of names has not yet been submitted to the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK). Therefore, the MKD will immediately schedule a meeting with the head of PPATK.
"So about the names (of the DPR members involved in online gambling), I don't know what kind of friends are," Habiburokhman told the media crew at the Nusantara 2 DPR Building on Monday, July 1.
Habiburokhman explained that currently the MKD is on a working visit. Then after that, the MKD will hold an internal meeting. Only then will hold a meeting with PPATK to discuss DPR members who do online gambling.
"MKD is still on a working visit, just returned today, so I just proposed a meeting at the MKD tomorrow," he said.
According to Habiburokhman, later the names of representatives of the people involved in online gambling may be revealed to the public, depending on the results of the meeting with PPATK.
"All names will be revealed, the most important thing is how we take firm and measurable action to the members concerned, later discussed at an internal meeting," he said.
When asked about what sanctions will be given to the DPR involved in online gambling, Habiburokhman was still reluctant to explain this because there had been no decision from the MKD.
Previously, Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives Prince Khairul Saleh revealed that as many as 82 members of the House of Representatives were actively involved in online gambling. The 82 members of the council will be summoned by the Honorary Court of the Council (MKD).
"There are 82 members of the DPR who are involved in online gambling. They will be by PPATK, maybe in the last few days, it will be submitted to Commission III and to MKD. Now the MKD will process those involved in these 82 people," Saleh said last week.

Saleh said the ball was now in the MKD to immediately collect data from 80 members of the DPR who were involved in online gambling to PPATK. However, he said, PPATK can also send these names to MKD as soon as possible.
"The MKD is active, he can take it himself to PPATK, or wait for PPATK to report to MKD or to Commission III. What is clear is that the MKD will take a stand," he said.
