Called By Jokowi To The Palace, Sandiaga Uno: Discuss The Family Office Scheme
JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno visited the Jakarta Presidential Palace at around 09.00 WIB.
His summons was based on the instructions of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
"Yes, there is an invitation to discuss strengthening our economy and finances, one that will be discussed by family office. It will be reported later," Sandiaga said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 1.
Sandiaga explained that family office is a concept, namely a family that brings its wealth to investment and is managed in an area as well as they can travel.
The concept, he continued, has been widely applied in a number of countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Monaco, London, Hong Kong, and Dubai.
Sandiaga assessed that the family office was attractive and strategically developed and Bali was considered more prepared, because the tourism ecosystem was built.
He said, family offices need to be supported by infrastructure, including housing to a good digital economy network.
In addition, it is also necessary to prepare attractions to attract the long stay of these investors.
He believes that Indonesia can create a family office, because the government also has a golden visa policy to create quality foreign investors as well as tourists.
