Today The Bandung District Court Again Holds Pretrial For Peti Setiawan, West Java Police Must Attend
Bandung City District Court Class 1A Special is preparing for the pretrial hearing of Pegi Setiawan, a suspect in the 2016 murder case of Vina and Eky, which is scheduled to take place on Monday, July 1, 2024 morning.
Peti Setiawan's pretrial hearing was previously postponed due to the absence of the West Java Regional Police during the trial.
Based on observations Monday morning, the courtroom is still in room 6 of the Mudjono District Court Bandung. Officers continue to make preparations in the room, while the iron fence is still standing in courtroom 6.
Previously, the Bandung District Court had postponed the trial for the first pretrial of Pegi Setiawan on June 24, 2024 because the West Java Police respondent who was sued by Pegi Setiawan was not present.
The sole judge Eman Sulaeman who presided over the pretrial trial, Pegi Setiawan, said that if the West Java Regional Police were not present at the pretrial hearing this time, the trial would continue.
On a separate occasion, Pegi Setiawan's attorney, Toni RM, said that his party was just waiting for evidence from the West Java Police investigators in determining the suspect against Pegi Setiawan.
"Since June 24, 2024, our legal adviser, Pegi Setiawan, is very ready to face the West Java Regional Police, we have included the arguments in the pretrial petition, we are just waiting for answers and evidence and instructions on what gives investigators confidence in determining Pegi Setiawan as a suspect," he said.

"If it's from the witness, we'll definitely have a smallpox, even a single judge will definitely look for him, Aep will come later, go ahead, because at the West Java Police press conference, one of the witnesses who will be presented is Aep," he said.
