The Deputy Governor Of DKI Says That The Maximum Salary Limit For Home Owners Is Rp. 0 To Rp. 14.8
JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, said that the Jakarta Provincial Government's decision to raise the maximum income limit for DP home owners from Rp.
Deputy Governor Riza said this value was adjusted to attachment II of the Minister of Public Works and Housing Regulation Number 10 / PRT / M / 2019 concerning Criteria for Low-Income Communities and Requirements for Ease of Acquiring Houses for Low-Income Communities.
"The increase follows policies rather than central government regulations. There is a regulation from the PUPR Minister. So, we are adjusting it to the central government's policy," said Riza at the City Hall of DKI, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, March 17.
However, in the regulation of the Minister of PUPR, it is stipulated that the maximum household income limit for low-income people is IDR 12.3 million. This figure is lower than that in DKI.
Acting Head of the DKI Housing and Settlement Area Office, Sarjoko, said the amount set by them exceeded the ministerial regulation limit because there were certain calculations. This is because the price of land in Jakarta is different from other regions.
"The calculation is adjusted for inflation and price disparities, especially on the expensive land price in Jakarta compared to other regions in Indonesia," said Sarjoko.
Previously, the urban policy analyst from FAKTA, Azas Tigor Nainggolan, questioned the increase in the highest income limit for DP home recipients. Tigor felt that the residents' monthly income of Rp. 14.8 million was not categorized as poor or low income.
"Which poor people have a minimum income of Rp. 14 million? Anies Baswedan's determination and way of thinking is strange," said Tigor.
