Indra Lesmana Introduces Fairlight As The 100th Release
JAKARTA - Indra Lesmana introduced his latest single entitled 'Fairlight'. The instrumental work was recorded with three musicians from Australia, namely Steve Hunter (bass), Andy Gander (drums), and Dale totaling (saxophone).
The 58-year-old keyboardist stated that the Fairlight was his 100th release of his music, whose first release was released in the 1970s.
"Tidak terasa lagu Fairlight sendiri adalah rilisan saya yang ke-100 selama karier saya," kata Indra Lesmana, mengutip keterangan unggahan Instagram, Minggu, 30 Juni.
The 'Fairlight' marks the start of his reunion with jazz musicians in Sydney he has known for a long time. This single will also be followed by the release of the album in the near future.
"It's great to be able to release the first single from my reunion album with my old friends in Sydney," he said.

Many questions arise to me why it's only now (a reunion), I myself don't understand why. But I always believe that everything must have a time and I can only be grateful that this can still happen in my musical life which is soon entering 50 years of work.
In his new single, Indra Lesmana does not only play synthesizer, he also acts as a composer, arranger, producer, executive producer, to people who work on mixing and mastering.
In addition to three Australian jazz musicians, Indra was also assisted by Hon Lesmana, Ivan Paulus, and Shirley Lim.
