Risma To Pramono Anung Prepared PDIP To Advance In The East Java Regional Head Election
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) has prepared the names of its cadres from the ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, such as Tri Rismaharini, Abdullah Azwar Anas, to Pramono Anung to run in the 2024 East Java (East Java) regional head election (Pilkada).
"In the East Java Pilkada, we have a few or less candidates for regional heads. For example, incumbent regional heads (restrictions) appear several names," said PDIP DPP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, June 30.
He emphasized that PDIP continues to encourage internal party cadres to advance and cooperate with other parties who have been trained, both through bureaucratic, professional, retired, TNI/Polri, to the press.
Apart from the ministerial circles, he mentioned that there were also proposals for other PDIP cadres, such as Mochamad Nur Arifin alias Gus Ipin, Erick Cahyadi, Armuji, Ipuk Fiestiandani, to Achmad Fauzi to run in the East Java Pilkada.
"The name Fauzi in Sumenep is so strong that it remains only to formulate political cooperation," he said.
So far, Hasto said that his party has communicated with several parties such as the National Awakening Party (PKB) and the Gerindra Party which have provided support for several regions in East Java.
"But for other regions we also carry out political communication. This is a very dynamic process," said Hasto.
Previously, the name of the Minister of Social Affairs who is also a PDIP cadre Tri Rismaharini was widely rumored to be joining the former Chairman of the East Java Nahdlatul Ulama (PWNU) Regional Management Kiai Haji Marzuki Mustamar in the 2024 East Java Regional Election.

According to him, PDIP actually wants its cadres to become Deputy Governor of East Java, paired with Khofifah Indar Parawansa. But over time, Khofifah seemed more stable to be back in pairs with Emil Dardak in the 2024 East Java Pilkada.
The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia has set a schedule for the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada which will be held in 37 provinces in Indonesia. The voting activity will take place on November 27, 2024.
