Bali Attorney General's Office Finds Alleged Budget Corruption Of The Official House Of The Buleleng Regional Secretary
DENPASAR - The investigating team of the High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) in Bali found irregularities in the regional financial budget for the rental of a house as Regional Secretary (Sekda) in Buleleng Regency, Bali.
Assistant for Intelligence at the Bali Attorney General's Office, Zuhandi, explained that the investigation had asked for information from 12 people. Data is also collected.
"Where the house for rent is the private house of the Regional Secretary. This investigation is still a general investigation, and witnesses will soon be examined to determine the suspect. Based on the data in SP2D, it was found that state losses in the rental activity of the Buleleng Regional Secretary's house amounted to Rp. 836. 952,318, ”said Zuhandi in his written statement, Wednesday, March 17.
In the APBD of Buleleng Regency, Bali, from 2014 to the present there is a budget for renting a house in the position of the Regional Secretary of Buleleng Regency.
"It should be noted that the Buleleng District Secretary has no official residence for the Buleleng Regional Secretary," he added.
In the activities, the rental of the house of the Regional Secretary from 2014 to 2020 has a rental agreement between the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) at the Buleleng District Secretary and the house owner regarding the rental of the house in the position of the Regional Secretary of Buleleng Regency.
Based on the investigation carried out by special criminal investigators, the Bali High Prosecutor's Office found that in the rental activities of the Buleleng Sekda there were elements of irregularities that led to criminal acts of corruption.
This violates Permendagri Number 37/2010 concerning Guidelines for the Preparation of the 2011 Regional Budget and changes to the nomenclature in the attachment to Permendagri Number 22/2011 (TA 2012), Number 37/2012, Number 20/2013 (TA 2014), to Permendagri Number 33/2019 ( FY 2020).
"The violation of the Permendagri leads to the elements of article 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes as amended by Law No. 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law, No. 31, of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes Jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) to 1 KUHP, "said Zuhandi.
