Judged As Crash In The Political Party Law, Questionable Democracy By SBY
JAKARTA - The Secretary General of the Democratic Party of the Extraordinary Congress (KLB) version of Sibolangit, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, Jhoni Allen Marbun stated that he had officially registered the management under Moeldoko's leadership at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
"We registered a few days ago by completing all the variables concerning the validity of the implementation of the KLB, on March 5 in Sibolangit," said Jhoni Allen in a conversation on a YouTube video belonging to Refly Harun, Wednesday, March 17.
According to him, the implementation of KLB is in accordance with the rights of members in returning the Democratic Party to a democratic party.
"Because of that, this problem is actually an old problem. So, as my younger siblings said there, PD is in accordance with its name democratic, open, anyone can enter," said Jhoni.
However, continued Jhoni, at the 5th Congress in Jakarta in December 2020 which was immediately passed on to Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) as the general chairman, the cadres felt that there were many irregularities.
"That is what makes voting rights holders, sovereignty holders, shocked after all their powers have been amputated," said the politician from North Sumatra.
Furthermore, he continued, especially in the implementation of the December 2020 Pilkada yesterday, the DPC chairmen were not included in determining who the regents and mayors will be carried by the Democrats. Either alone or together with a coalition of other parties.
"In our old days, from Mr. Budhi Santoso, Hadi Utomo, half of Anas Urbaningrum's journey, including Marzuki Alie who was the secretary general, we never interfered in Pilkada affairs in city districts. But strangely, he said, now the party's upper house (MTP) has taken all the highest powers in the management of the Democratic Party. Where the chairman is Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).
"In the AD / ART, the upper house for 2020-2025 is automatically the general chairman. From 2015-2020, even though 2015-2020, the management has been demanding, how come all of a sudden the upper chamber directly goes to the upper chamber?" Said Jhoni in surprise.
Meanwhile, what violates the Political Party Law the most, added Jhoni, is the rights of the chairman of the upper house of the 2020 version of the 5th Congress.

"That is article 9. Designing and proposing to be stipulated. There is no discussion. Now, the chairman of the upper house appoints and dismisses the members of the upper house. So, just one unit. That he appoints himself. For example, I don't get along with him, so stop it. It was not in the meeting process, "explained Jhoni.
The next irregularity, said Jhoni, was the appointment of a candidate for chairman. Where at the congress and the KLB must be approved by SBY.
"Well, that is what he (SBY) calls that the KLB is not valid because there is no signature of me (SBY). There is no approval. There is no signature of me, so he is admittedly just that one. But there are many others," he explained.
Because of that, Jhoni questioned the location of the democratic position of a SBY as a party leader. In fact, the sixth president of the Republic of Indonesia has always called for a just democracy.
"The problem is, what is SBY echoing, who always says that democracy must be put forward. But in his own home democracy is amputated. At the same time he also says that justice must be put forward," said Jhoni.
"Where is the justice for the treatment of the sovereignty of members from Sabang to Merauke? This is always upside down inside. What is conveyed by what happened," he continued, closing his statement.
