Vagabond's Second Season Big Signal
JAKARTA - The Korean drama Vagabond ended its journey on Saturday, November 23 yesterday. This 16-episode drama successfully closed the story with a rating of 13.61 for live broadcast in Korea or 5.5 percent of the percentage of viewers aged 20-49. This shows, Vagabond can be enjoyed by various groups.
Vagabond tells of a stuntman named Cha Dal Gun (Lee Seung Gi) who tries to uncover the truth of a B357 plane crash that killed his nephew, Cha Hoon. Not alone, Dal Gun is assisted by Go Hae Ri (Bae Suzy), a National Intelligent Service (NIS) agent.
Prior to broadcast, the broadcast rights for Vagabond had already been purchased by the paid streaming site Netflix. Thus, fans in Asia, America and Europe can access Vagabond according to broadcast time of their respective countries. In their home country, Vagabond achieved a rating of more than 10 percent on its first broadcast. While at its last broadcast, this drama closed the story with a rating of 13 percent.
Naturally, Vagabond is loved, because this drama is the reunion of Lee Seung Gi and Bae Suzy after they both starred in Gu Family Book in 2013. Their acting success this time was really inspiring.
Due to its success, fans are expecting that there will be a second season of this drama. A source from the drama production said plans for a new season were already in place but had not yet confirmed the timing.
